A Roseanne Reunion is planned to take place at the comedy roasting of one of America's most beloved comediennes Roseanne Barr.

In the 90's, the show was one of the most successful and most watched shows in America and now, 15 years after it's final series, the cast are set to reunite to roast the show's titular star, it was announced on Thursday.

Sarah Chalke, Michael Fishman and Alicia Goranson are three of the show's one time stars set to hold up a glass in the name of the comedienne, joining the likes of Carrie Fisher, Seth Green, Katey Sagal, Anthony Jeselnik, Jeffrey Ross and Amy Schumer - who had already been confirmed to appear at the roasting.

Glee star Jane Lynch is due to serve as master of ceremonies as she oversees the proceedings. Ellen Barkin, Wayne Brady and Gilbert Gottfried will also be present at the toast, which is being aired on US cable network Comedy Central next Sunday (August 12th).

The shindig will be filmed in front of a live audience at the Hollywood Palladium in the Los Angeles district, following on a tradition that has seen stars such as William Shatner, CHARLEI SHEEN, Chevy Chase and Flavor Flav all being sent up by friends and former co-workers.
