Last Tango On Strictly Come Dancing For Christine Bleakleyby Contributor | 30 November 2008
Television presenter Christine Bleakley has become the 12th celebrity to leave BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing.
The One Show host lost out after a dance-off with former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens.
"I thought I would go in the first week," she said after being voted off the show.
"It's been absolutely incredible. I can't thank people enough for their support, in Northern Ireland and over here."
She said she would miss dance partner Matthew Cutler "every day more than anything".
The 28-year-old had been bottom of the leader board on Saturday night's episode, after the judges awarded her and Matthews' tango 58 out of 80 points.
Ratings for the programme hit 9.8 million, with a peak of 11.2 million people, some half a million down on the number who tuned in last week for John Sergeant's farewell waltz.
