'Grown Ups 2' leads this year's Razzie nominations.

The Adam Sandler-starring comedy has the dubious distinction of being up for eight accolades at the 34th annual Golden Raspberry Awards, which serve as a spoof of the prestigious Academy Awards.

The comedy sequel - which was also written and produced by Sandler - is up for Worst Picture, Worst Sequel, Worst Screenplay and Worst Ensemble Cast.

Sandler is also nominated for Worst Actor, while co-stars Taylor Lautner and Salma Hayek will compete for Worst Supporting Actor and Actress respectively. Director Dennis Dugan completes the film's eight nominations with a Worst Director nod.

The 47-year-old star is no stranger to the Razzies as his movie 'Jack and Jill' made Razzie history by collecting 10 awards in 2011, including Worst Actor and Worst Actress for Sandler.

Sci-fi movie 'After Earth', which starred Will Smith and his son Jaden, is up for six awards this year, as is Tyler Perry's 'A Madea Christmas' and 'Movie 43'.

Other Worst Picture nominees include Disney's big budget flop 'The Lone Ranger' - which starred Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer - 'Scary Movie 5', 'Runner Runner' and 'The Host'.

The Razzie nominations are announced a day prior to the Academy Award nominations and the ceremony - which falls on March 1 this year - also takes place a day before the Oscars.
