Cara Delevingne wants to star in the next 'Bond' film.

The 21-year-old supermodel - who is currently filming a Peter Pan movie with Hugh Jackman - is keen to follow her dream of being a 'Bond' girl.

A source told 'The Sunday Mirror': ''Cara hinted she would love to be involved, but the makers of Bond had already started considering her as somebody they would be interested in.''

Cara has previously starred alongside Keira Knightley and Jude Law in 'Anna Karenina' and has reportedly been approached by 'Bond' bosses after she admitted she'd love to star opposite Daniel Craig.

The source continued: ''Obviously she's striking, she's well known and she's establishing herself as a talented actress.

''There would be a real buzz about getting her involved and the signs are all good. Everybody is excited.''

The forthcoming 'Bond' movie - which has the working title 'Bond 24' - is expected to see Daniel Craig and Ben Whishaw reprise their roles as Bond and Q respectively. 'Skyfall' director Sam Mendes will also return to his post and the movie is expected to include other big names like Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes and Rory Kinnear.

Filming will start towards the end of this year with the film being released in November 2015.
