Actress Sarah Jessica Parker has criticised fashion houses for failing to consider larger sized models, because she believes a happy, natural woman is sexier than an unhappy, thin one.

The slim SEX AND THE CITY star, 40, insists larger women are healthier and more content, and shouldn't feel pressurised to lose weight, particularly after pregnancy.

She says, "Women of all sizes are beautiful when they feel good.

"It's a great mistake of the fashion industry to focus less on fuller figures. I find larger women sexy.

"I gained an awful amount of weight and enjoyed it. I wanted to be healthy.

"I nursed him (her son James) for a really long time. I didn't worry too much about losing weight."
