Dancing With The Stars season eleven has been won by the American actress Jennifer Grey, after she breezed to victory with two perfect scores for her final dances of the series. Last night's results show (23rd November 2010) saw the 50-year-old announced as this year's winner, with Disney star Kyle Massey finishing second, and Bristol Palin finishing third.
Despite finding herself bottom of the leader-board heading into the results show, there had been much speculation as to whether Palin would benefit from a strong public vote and topple the favourite, JENNIFER GREY. However, it was not to be and the daughter of Republican politician Sarah Palin found herself as the first finalist to be eliminated. Before the results were announced, the 20-year-old said, "Going out there and winning this would mean a lot. It would be like a big middle finger to all the people out there that hate my mom and hate me".
'Dirty Dancing' star Grey and professional partner Derek Hough had continually topped the leader-board throughout this year's show, and a recent flurry of 'perfect tens' had seen them heavily tipped to take the title. The singer Brandy was regarded as the only contestant to match Grey's dancing ability, but she was surprisingly eliminated last week.
