Scarlett Johansson appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman on Monday evening (December 12, 2011) and spoke candidly about having her nude photos stolen from her cell phone and subsequently leaked on to the internet.
The We Bought a Zoo actress was in high spirits while in conversation with Letterman and laughed off the recent leak, saying, "Somebody stole my nudie photos. They were out there for all the world to see which was, uh, unfortunate, really". Scarlett, 27, called the experience "shocking" and "creepy", and explained how she had her password changed several times before realising she was being hacked, saying, "It meant the guy was there constantly, every 20 seconds, sitting there all pasty and sweaty and pervy and weird.and that's the creepiest thing, really". The alleged hacker behind the incident was arrested back in October and charged with accessing the email accounts of numerous celebrities including Johansson and the singer Christina Aguilera. If convicted of the 26 counts, Christopher Chaney faces up to 121 years in prison, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
It's been a tumultuous year for the actress, who as well as being a victim of hacking also divorced from husband Ryan Reynolds in the summer. However, she has been working in the hugely anticipated superhero movie 'The Avengers' and appears opposite Matt Damon in the forthcoming family comedy 'We Bought a Zoo', set for release on December 23, 2011.
