Rapper HYDRO, who has worked with Sean Combs and Busta Rhymes, has been jailed for 35 months on drug and stun gun possession charges.
The Scottish star, who toured with Combs and featured Busta Rhymes on his debut 2008 album, was arrested in April, 2009 after cops caught him in possession of cocaine worth $4,800 (£3,200) and $6,000 (£4,000) of cannabis.
His mother's home in Lanarkshire, Scotland, was then raided by police officers, who discovered two illegal stun guns.
Hydro, real name Adnan Ahmed, pleaded guilty to a string of charges in March (10) at Hamilton Sheriff Court, telling Scotland's Daily Record at the time, "I'm glad I got caught. I had a life of insanity. I was not addicted to drugs but I was addicted to drug-dealing."
On Wednesday (16Jun10), Ahmed was sentenced to 35 months in prison after his lawyer failed to win a plea to avoid a custodial sentence.
Ahmed was previously worked as an intern at Def Jam records.
