Selena Gomez has thanked her fans for standing by her as she dealt with her mother's miscarriage before Christmas (11).
The Disney singer/actress was left devastated earlier this month (Dec11) when her mother Mandy lost the baby she was expecting with Gomez's stepfather Brian.
The young star has now posted a message online expressing her gratitude to all the fans who sent her messages of support after the tragedy, while she also poignantly revealed the baby was a little girl named Scarlett.
In a post on her Facebook.com page, Gomez writes, "Belated Merry Christmas everybody... I can't thank you enough for all of your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate every one of you... I love you all so much and we hope you and your family had a beautiful Christmas!"
She signs the message from "Me, Momma, Brian and our guardian angel Scarlett."
