Selena Gomez is "nervous" about her British accent in 'Monte Carlo'.

The 18-year-old star - who is currently dating Canadian heartthrob Justin Bieber - appears in the romantic comedy in two roles, one of which is a British heiress called Cordelia Winthrop Scott, and she admits she is concerned about getting the voice right

She said: "I did about two weeks of training before the film. It was really fun, but I was really nervous."

Selena stars alongside 'Glee' actor Corey Monteith and 'Gossip Girl' beauty Leighton Meester in the movie, and she reveals they spent a lot of their time on set in France singing.

She said: "We sang a lot. We sang to actual songs that were out. But we would create our own lyrics; it was really fun."

Corey - who plays a truck-driving football player in the movie - loved his time on the set because of the "hot chicks" and the opportunity to film in the French capital city, Paris.

He told MTV News: "Going to hang out with a bunch of hot chicks in Europe? Sign me up!

"There was a little jumping and jiving. We were so taken away by the moment, shooting in Paris, shooting the Eiffel Tower."
