LATEST: Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon has repeated his criticism of Green Day, insisting the trio would not have survived when punk was at its height. Lydon has become a scathing critic of Billie Joe Armstrong's San Francisco, California group, calling them "plonk" in a recent interview, and now he insists the trio are just "silly fat kids." The GOD SAVE THE QUEEN rocker says, "(They're) sticky tape on a duck's a**e. "They wouldn't have survived it (punk heyday). We had to earn the wings. We made it easy for them to come in and nick things from us. Silly fat kids. "It was hard times we went through for them to come and nick our ideas."
