The music manager-turned-TV personality "collapsed from mental and physical fatigue" when she returned to her Los Angeles home after a hectic business trip, her representative tells People.com.

Her doctors are convinced Osbourne, 62, returned to work too soon after undergoing hernia surgery in March (15) and subsequently battling pneumonia, so they have signed her off work for a month.

Her publicist adds, "Sharon has been advised and has agreed to take a month hiatus to recover fully from these recent events... Sharon would like to thank everyone at The Talk for granting her this time off and to all friends, family and others for their incredible support."
