Shia LaBeouf has alleged he was raped by a stranger during his live art installation show earlier this year (14).
The Transformers star appeared at an art gallery in Los Angeles for his #IAmSorry performance for five days in February (14).
Visitors could sit opposite LaBeouf at a table and do whatever they wanted while he wore a paper bag emblazoned with the words 'I am not famous anymore' over his head.
LaBeouf has now claimed a woman attacked him on Valentine's Day (14Feb14), shortly before his girlfriend Mia Goth was due to visit.
During an email interview with Dazed & Confused magazine, he writes, "One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped my legs for 10 minutes and then stripped my clothing and proceeded to rape me, then walked out with her lipstick smudged to her awaiting boyfriend, who I image was quite hurt by it. All this happened in front of hundreds of people. It was really terrible...
"On top of that my girl was in line to come see me because it was Valentine's Day & I was living in the gallery sleeping in a sleeping bag for the duration of the event - we were separated for five days no communication so it really hurt her as well as I guess the news of it travelled through the line, she was only about 25 people back. When she came in she asked for an explanation and I couldn't speak so we both sat with this unexplained trauma silently. It was painful - the hardest part of the show - it f**ked our Valentine's Day."
The email interview is accompanied by a silent hour-long in-person chat. In the video, LaBeouf and journalist Aimee Cliff sit looking at each other for the duration of the 'interview' with video cameras attached to their heads.
