Shirley Maclaine, the 76-year-old screen legend, had admitted to sleeping with three men in one day, reports the New York Daily News. Shirley Maclaine, who is busy promoting her 12th book, shocked the live studio audience on yesterday's Oprah Winfrey show with the risque details.
The veteran actress' new book is titled 'I'm Over All That: And Other Confessions' and she revealed the secrets of her sex life on Monday's show. After admitting to have had "an awful lot of lovers", MacLaine said, "I wasn't into sexcapades, although I tried it once. I had three people in one day. It was on a political campaign, where everybody was doing the same thing and I just didn't wanna be left out. It was not my style at all, I'm a serial monogamist". The actress, best known for her role in 'The Turning Point', was married to the businessman Steve Parker for 30 years before splitting in 1982. The actress says she wasn't fond of marriage and had a "special agreement" with her husband, saying, "I had affairs and so did he, but we were very good friends. I loved the freedom and so did he. I've had an awful lot of lovers ... and a lot of awful lovers".
Despite often falling for her "leading man", Shirley Maclaine admitted that there were several A-listers that did nothing for her. The 76-year-old said Jack Lemmon was apparently "too nice for her taste" and that Jack Nicholson was "too much".
