Emma Watson has been voted Britain's Best Dressed Female.

The 'Harry Potter' actress topped the poll of 25,000 people conducted by UK Glamour magazine beating off stiff competition from a host of British stars.

The 20-year-old star - who once modelled for Burberry - beat Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham into second place with 'Atonement' actress Keira Knightly, Cheryl Cole and actress-and-fashion designer Sienna Miller completing the top five.

In a statement Glamour commented: "From Hermione in Hogwarts robes to the face of Burberry Prorsum, Emma Watson's rise and rise to style fame has been an interesting one. Granted that the star commits a fair few faux pas in the style department, she is the golden girl in The Front row at LFW and has re-ignited our love of the classic trench."

Meanwhile 'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson, was named Britain's best-dressed man.

The 24-year-old actor proved most popular with voters pushing Scottish actor Gerard Butler into second place.

Emma's 'Harry Potter' co-stars also featured highly in the poll with Rupert Grint - who plays Ron Weasley coming third and Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) in fourth. Football player David Beckham was fifth.

According to Glamour: "Tartan lumberjack shirts and jeans when out and about, drool-inducing tailored suits and skinny ties when on the red carpet. Robert Pattinson is certainly the crush of the moment but now he can now add Britain's Most Stylish Man to his long list of accolades."
