Cheryl Cole 's comeback single will be called 'Screw You,' according to rumours which naturally have led many to assume that should the song contain such a title then it'll be about her former boss Simon Cowell. Cowell and Cole's story barely needs reporting of course; the reality pop contest mogul transforming the Geordie singer from just one of almighty girl group Girls Aloud into one of the most marketable British stars in her own right following her hugely successful judging stint on the UK's 'X Factor.' It all went pear-shaped however when Cole was initially picked to be on the panel of the first American series of the show, only to be sent back home amid a slew of newspaper headlines and accusations of ill-treatment.
Entertainmentwise reports that there is a listing for the song on the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers that has been recorded by Cole; however, the listing isn't dated and doesn't offer up any further information. Cole is set to launch her comeback album campaign on the new reality singing contest - and expected strong rival to 'X Factor' - 'The Voice,' the show on which her manager Will.I.AM is a judge, she could hardly pick a more explosive time to debut that song, should it indeed be about Cowell.
