Troubled Irish singer Sinead O connor has assured fans her upcoming tour dates will take place as scheduled following her hospitalisation for depression.
The Nothing Compares 2 U hitmaker suffered a meltdown earlier this month (Jan12), revealing in a series of manic Twitter.com posts that she had taken an overdose of pills and had been pleading for help from a psychiatrist.
She also claimed to have attempted suicide twice during her short-lived marriage to Barry Herridge, who she split from just 16 days after their 8 December (11) nuptials.
O'Connor recently checked into a medical centre to seek help for her condition, prompting fans to worry about whether her planned February (12) shows in the U.S. and Britain would take place - but the star is adamant they will.
Asked by a fan on Twitter whether her Los Angeles concert will still be staged, O'Connor replies, "Absolutely! All tour dates going ahead as planned. im doing well thanks."
