Sir Paul McCartney reportedly wrote a song attacking his estranged wife Heather Mills for her vanity and greed a full year before their split in May (06). The former beatle hits out at Mills in RIDING TO VANITY FAIR, which features on his album CHAOS AND CREATION IN THE BACKYARD, according to friends. The song tells of the ex-model's alleged love of publicity, making references to an interview she gave with magazine Vanity Fair. A close friend tells British newspaper the Sunday Mirror, "All Paul's emotions and troubles because of the marriage to Heather are in that song. "He is saying how the love has gone out of their relationship. And he is putting the blame squarely on Heather."
