Sir Paul McCartney and his estranged wife Heather Mills have hired the same divorce lawyers who represented British royal Prince Charles and DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES when they ended their marriage 10 years ago. The veteran rocker has hired Prince Charles' former lawyer FIONA SHACKLETON to represent his case, in which he accuses Mills of "unreasonable behaviour". Meanwhile, his wife visited top law firm Mishcon de Reya yesterday (08AUG06) to seek legal representation and has confirmed Diana's attorney ANTHONY JULIUS will be defending her in court. Prince Charles and Diana separated in 1992, but did not divorce until 1996 - a year before the princess was tragically killed in a Paris, France car accident. Mills' spokesman PHIL HALL says, "Yes. It was decided today." Hall confirmed press reports that MCCartney had frozen the couple's joint bank account and sent a "legal letter" to Mills, complaining three bottles of cleaning fluid were taken from his Sussex, England home to clean her local office. The couple announced they were separating in May (06) after nearly four years of marriage. They have a two-year-old daughter BEATRICE MILLY together.
