Sir Paul McCartney has become the latest star to greet astronauts on the final NASA shuttle mission.
The former Beatle spoke to the crew of shuttle Atlantis on Friday (15ul11) after a snippet of the Fab Four's track Good Day Sunshine was piped into the spacecraft.
He told the astronauts, "Good morning guys! Wake up! And good luck on this, your last mission. Well done!"
Earlier this week, Sir Elton John and R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe recorded similar greetings for the crew.
