With work near completion on their third album, Slow Club take to the road for a series of gigs culminating in a hometown show in their beloved Sheffield.
The November leg recalls the early days of their musical partnership with Charles and Rebecca playing as a duo, whilst in December they'll be joined by their touring band for six shows as a five piece.
Commenting on their shows as a two piece Charles said - ""Earlier in the year we played a couple of shows like we used to, with a couple of guitars and keyboard. I was pretty terrified at the thought of not having a full band with us but it turned out to be amazing. I'm really excited to play these new songs in beautiful venues we have never been to."
The tour promises songs old and new - highlights from their albums Yeah, So and Paradise and some new tracks including The Queens Nose, Suffering Me, Suffering You and Tears Of Joy previewed on selective dates earlier this year.
The penultimate date is their traditional Christmas show on December 10th - this year at Shepherds Bush Empire having outgrown both the Union Chapel and Koko. An annual institution since 2008 these shows are a marker of how the band have grown from a charming teenage two-piece into a fully-grown five-piece who ooze confidence in their own musical ability and impress as much as charm.
