Rapper-turned-reggae star Snoop Lion is convinced he was always destined to become the the next Bob Marley.
The former hip-hop icon has turned to Rastafarianism following a spiritual trip to Jamaica last year (12), which gave him the spark to become the leader the late reggae legend was - and he believes the world really needs another Marley right now.
Snoop tells Rolling Stone magazine, "When Bob Marley passed away, his music and his message spread, but there was no one to take the baton and continue the way he lived, the way he spoke to the people with power and love. I feel like I'm Bob Marley reincarnated.
"I wanna speak to what's going on. It's like this s**t at the Boston Marathon. This s**t keeps happening. My third eye has been opened up and I wanna pass it on."
