British actor Stephen Fry took to the stage in London on Wednesday night (24Apr13) to deliver a stand-up comedy routine in honour of late funnyman Peter Cook.

The Alice in Wonderland star showed off his comedic side during a set at the U.K. capital's Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, which was staged to remember Cook, who died in 1995.

In a post on his Twitter.com page, Fry told followers, "Throwing down 10 minutes of stand-up... in honour of the late great Peter Cook."

During the set, Fry also told anecdotes about his late friend.
