Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones loves to turn on the radio at the moment - because there's so much quality music for him to be inspired by.

The HAVE A NICE DAY rocker is enjoying listening to music by artists including The Strokes and Franz Ferdinand, who he believes transcend musical fashion with their talent.

Jones says, "I think there are a lot of good bands - it's great to turn on the radio at the moment. There are a lot of good songs and it's not just about haircuts, jackets and scene-setters.

"There are bands like The Strokes, Kings Of Leon, Kasabian, Franz Ferdinand, and Bloc Party.

"It's refreshing to hear decent guitar bands again."
