Actress Katherine Waterston has landed a lead role in Danny Boyle's Steve Jobs biopic.
The Inherent Vice star will play the late Apple boss' first wife, Chrisann, alongside Michael Fassbender, who will play Jobs, according to Deadline.com.
Seth Rogen has been cast as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and Michael Stuhlbarg will appear in the film as computer scientist and inventor Andy Hertzfeld.
The movie, which is based on Walter Isaacson's Jobs biography, has faced a number of road blocks in recent months after both Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale dropped out of the project.
The film, which is being produced by Scott Rudin and features a screenplay by Aaron Sorkin, is now back on track after it was picked up by executives at Universal Pictures last month (Nov14).
The movie will begin filming next year (15).
