Movie icon Steve McQueen is to be celebrated on the 30th anniversary of his death at the 2010 Jules Verne Festival in Hollywood.
The actor's family is to be handed the Jules Verne Legendaire Award on behalf of the late star at a gala event on 11 November (10).
The big event, dubbed The King of Cool Returns to Hollywood, will feature a screening of MCQueen's movie classic Bullitt.
The cast of the film will be part of the celebration at the Arclight cinema.
The Steve MCQueen tribute event is the sixth installment of the Jules Verne Legendaire Awards. Previous honourees have included George Lucas, James Cameron and Tony Curtis.
