Aaron Chugg - Music Manager Aaron Chugg Dies
Veteran music manager Aaron Chugg has died just days after finishing work with the Stone Roses on their Australian tour.
Chugg was put on life support in hospital after suffering a stroke, according to a Facebook.com post by Hoodoo Gurus frontman Dave Faulkner.
Faulkner took to the social-networking site to break the news of his former manager's passing, but did not specify when the 53 year old died.
The rocker reveals Chugg, who managed several rock bands including Evermore and Rose Tattoo, had just wrapped his work with reunited British rockers the Stone Roses on a series of shows Down Under this month (Mar13).
Faulkner writes, "We are very sad to note the passing of Aaron Chugg, well-respected and well-loved tour manager (and genuinely nice bloke). Aaron had been put on life support after suffering a massive double stroke on his way to Melbourne Airport but unfortunately he never regained consciousness."
The singer also praised Chugg for his sense of humour, adding, "He was always cracking jokes which were often put-downs of the people around him but it was hard to take offence because he paid out on himself as much as anyone."
