Adam Levine is planning to transform his bachelor pad into a family home for him and his future wife.

The Maroon 5 frontman is set to tie the knot with his model girlfriend Behati Prinsloo next month in Mexico, but it appears the hunky singer is already preparing himself for married life as he's renovating his Beverly Hills mansion.

The 35-year-old star filed a permit in November 2013 with the Los Angeles County Building and Safety Department to convert a storage room into a maid's room, transform the living room, add a recording room as well as a guest suite, according to RadarOnline.com.

Adam is already thinking about starting a family with Behati as he's planning to add another bedroom to the current six-bedroom property, which he bought in 2012 for $5 million.

Meanwhile, the loved-up couple will officially become husband and wife on July 19 after they say their vows in an intimate ceremony at the Hotel El Ganzo in Los Cabos.

A rehearsal dinner will take place on Friday July 18, before another gathering will take place a day after the wedding to allow guests time to say goodbye to the newlyweds.

Behati, 25, has already got her wedding gown and is looking forward to walking down the aisle in it.

She said recently: ''It's bohemian, very beachy. Very me.''
