Amanda Seyfried doesn't think porn should be blocked.

The 27-year-old beauty - who plays iconic 1970s adult movie star Linda Lovelace in new biopic 'Lovelace' - doesn't think blue movies are anything to be ashamed of.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz at a special screening of her new movie at London's May Fair Hotel last night (12.08.13), she said: ''You can't put a ban on it. I mean, kids under age are still drinking. It just makes it that much more powerful. It's freedom ... You should be free to watch it whenever you want.''

Amanda admitted she doesn't enjoy porn herself and her first brush with X-rated material when she was just six was ''disturbing''.

She explained: ''I've watched porn, yes. Enjoyed? No. I saw some when I was six. It was really disturbing. There was a policeman ... I was at my friend's house and their parents weren't around and the older brother, who, I think was 10 at the time, puts this on and I was just blown away.''

The real-life Linda Lovelace starred in iconic blue movie 'Deep Throat' -reportedly the most successful porn film of all time - but despite recreating scenes from the skin flick in 'Lovelace', Amanda could only sit through 10 minutes of the original before turning it off.

She added: ''I hadn't seen 'Deep Throat' really. I don't even know [I could say] I even watched it [properly] ... I watched like 10 minutes of it. It was interesting.''

Amanda was joined at the special screening by her co-star Peter Sarsgaard.

'Lovelace' is in cinemas on August 23.
