Actor Louis Waldon has died, aged 83.
He passed away in California on Friday (07Dec13). No more details were available as Wenn went to press.
Waldon worked closely with celebrated pop artist Andy Warhol and appeared in a number of his films, including Lonesome Cowboys, Blue Movie, Bike Boy, Flesh and Nude Restaurant.
He also appeared 1985's Mask and Lenz (1971).
Waldon's friend Richard Dupont has paid tribute to Waldon, telling the New York Post gossip column Page Six, "Without Louie there never would have been any Warhol films. He was also the funniest guy, and all the artists loved him, he had a heart of gold."
