Angelina Jolie will celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia.

The 38-year-old beauty and her brood of six children - Maddox, 12, Pax, nine, Shiloh, seven, Zahara, eight, and five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - with Brad Pitt will enjoy the American holiday Down Under because she is directing her new movie 'Unbroken' in sunny Sydney.

Angelina's actor father Jon Voight revealed the news, explaining that he is disappointed he won't be able to spend the holiday with his grandchildren.

He told the New York Daily News' Confidenti@l column: ''My grandchildren are just terrific. Angie's working on her film and directing her film in Australia, so I won't be able to see them this holiday.''

The 'Maleficent' star has been enjoying the native culinary treats with her children, including kangaroo meat, while in Australia.

A source previously said: ''Whenever they are in new countries the kids have a rule about trying local food.

''The tour guide took them to a specialist Aussie restaurant and they had a mix of kangaroo and emu on a pizza.''

Angelina is currently directing World War II drama 'Unbroken', which marks her first major project since undergoing a preventative double-mastectomy surgery earlier this year.
