British dance music veteran Aphex Twin is preparing to unveil his first album of new material in 13 years.

The star, real name Richard D. James, teased fans by making the announcement via the 'deep web' browser Tor, which is used to mask the identity of users and their activity.

He took to Twitter.com to post a deep web link to a page containing details of the record. It will be called Syro and will feature 12 new tracks, but the actual release date has not been given.

Syro will be Aphex Twin's first album of new material since 2001's Drukqs.
