Bethenny Frankel and her ex-husband Jason Hoppy have agreed on joint custody of their daughter Bryn.

The former couple have been locked in an on-going bitter legal battle for 16 months over the future of their four-year-old daughter, but they finally came to an agreement yesterday (04.06.14) and will share parental duties.

Bernard Clair, Jason's lawyer, confirmed that the custody part of the divorce case was settled in a New York courtroom yesterday, telling E! News: ''My client is delighted that this custody dispute has been resolved; that his co-parenting status has been acknowledged; that the parties' child will have the benefit of being raised by both parents; and most importantly, that his daughter will no longer be at the mercy of a high profile courtroom battle.''

Mr Clair added: ''Jason wishes Bethenny only the best of luck, and he looks forward to sharing with her all of the joyous occasions, milestones, and blessings that will be coming up in his daughter's future.''

The former host, who is believed to be worth between $25 million to $50 million, was initially pushing for full custody of the youngster with the sales executive being allowed visitation, while Jason was happy with joint custody.

The pair filed for divorce in December 2012 but have since been arguing over the money made during their two-year marriage after Bethenny set up her company Skinnygirl.
