Britney Spears' father Jamie Spears has reportedly banned her ex-boyfriend David Lucado from contacting his daughter after footage emerged of him allegedly cheating on the singer.
Britney Spears' ex-boyfriend has allegedly been banned from contacting her.
The 32-year-old singer was left heartbroken after she learnt David Lucado had allegedly cheated on her with an unidentified woman and now her father Jamie Spears has blocked the hunk from speaking to her.
A source told TMZ.com: ''David won't be getting through because he's persona non grata at her show in Las Vegas, at her home in Thousand Oaks, California and his phone number's been blocked.''
The 'Piece of Me' hitmaker announced on Twitter on Thursday (29.08.14) that she'd dumped her beau, but friends claim David wasn't told about the split from Britney and he is keen to speak to her directly.
The insider explained: ''David never heard about the break up directly from Britney ... and he wants to have that talk, just in case he still has a slim shot.''
Meanwhile, Jamie - who has controlled the singer's personal and professional affairs since her breakdown in 2008 - reportedly forked out a ''substantial amount'' for the clip of David canoodling with another woman in order to prevent the footage from being leaked publicly.
It is not known whether another copy of the video has been made but Jamie will allegedly sue for copyright infringement if anyone posts or publishes the clip.
Britney - who first started dating David in March 2013 - is throwing herself into her Las Vegas residency concerts in an attempt to distract herself from the split.
