Britney Spears is looking forward to being in ''a more stable environment'' during her Las Vegas residency.

The 'Till The World Ends' singer, who is set to kick off her first show at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on December 27, has hinted she is unlikely to embark on a world tour again in the near future.

She said: ''When you're tour, it's so hard on the body. I look back and I don't know how I did it. Being in one place is cool. It's a more stable environment.''

The blonde beauty also revealed she can barely move after spending hours learning the challenging choreography for her upcoming shows.

The 31-year-old star told Vegas Player Magazine: ''I have not been this sore in my entire life. When I started working out, I was sore for like, three days. I could hardly move. I'm really challenging myself with the choreography.''

The 'Ooh La La' singer added: ''Whenever I do a show, I'm really keen on making it a show. I love to dance and perform. Because it's Vegas, I want to do something different. This is the perfect place to bring it to the next level.''

Britney has signed a two-year deal that will see her perform 48 shows a year, for which she will earn a total of almost $15 million.
