Catherine Zeta-Jones was embarrassed at the New York City premiere of her new movie Red 2 when a cheeky reporter dared to ask about her husband Michael Douglas' recent oral sex admission.

The Welsh actress walked the red carpet at a special screening of the action sequel at the Cinema Society in Manhattan on Tuesday night (16Jul13), and stopped to answer questions from the press.

However, she was left speechless when one journalist asked her how she felt about her partner's headline-grabbing comments about the links between cancer and Hpv, the human papillomavirus, which can be transmitted through oral sex.

The reporter said, "Have you been mortified that your husband, in some ways, has become the poster boy for the dangers of oral sex?" to which Zeta-Jones coldly replied: "Next question!"

Douglas made the remarks while talking about his own personal battle with throat cancer in 2011.

The Wall Street star appeared to blame his diagnosis on cunnilingus, but later backtracked on his comment, explaining, "Head and neck cancer can be caused by many things including Hpv virus, smoking, alcohol, drug abuse, genes, environment and stress. I do not know what caused my cancer. If I did I'd have a Nobel Prize."
