Pop superstar Cher has reunited with her longtime costume designer, Bob Mackie, after he previously stepped down from working on her current world tour.

The singer was devastated when MACkie, famed for creating some of her most outrageous outfits, turned down the job of designing her stage gear for her Dressed To Kill trek, and her team struggled to get her outfits finished in time for the first show in March (14).

However, it has now emerged that MACkie has agreed to reunite with Cher to take charge of the stage wear for the second leg of the tour later this year (14).

Cher shared the good news in a series of posts on Twitter.com, writing, "Just got home from Bob MACkie. We are working on new costumes... Omg (oh my God)... What a genius. New Opening &... costumes r (are) seriously out of control!"

A representative for MACkie adds to New York Post gossip column Page Six, "We can confirm that (he) is teaming up with Cher for the second leg of her Dressed to Kill tour. With new fall shows being added to the tour schedule, Mr. MACkie is able to dedicate time to creating a few spectacular designs for the show."

The second leg of the jaunt kicks off in Albany, New York on 11 September (14).
