Singer Courtney Love is hoping to team up with rapper Jay Z on her new album after she let him use a sample of her late husband Kurt Cobain's Nirvana track Smells Like Teen Spirit for his latest hit, Holy Grail.
The Hole star's new music is due out this winter (13), and she is trying to persuade the 99 Problems hitmaker to add a little something to at least one of the tracks.
She says, "We have the single, which comes out when my book comes out this winter. But we're missing a song that's modern... I would love to do a duet with Jay Z. Wouldn't that be great? Gwyneth (Paltrow) asked him if he heard my version of 99 Problems and he said it was brilliant, so..."
