James Bond star Daniel Craig has turned journalist to interview Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke for a new magazine article.

Craig, a self-confessed Radiohead fan, chatted to Yorke over the phone for America's Interview magazine and he started off by explaining his nervous demeanour to the singer, revealing, "I've never interviewed anyone before, so if I ask anything stupid then just tell me to f**k off."

The actor went on to quiz Yorke about his work with side project band Atoms for Peace, before the singer turned the tables on Craig to ask about his acting career.

During the chat, they talked about subjects including the digitisation of the music industry, with Craig admitting he recently gave up his iPod: "I'm sort of a nerd because I just play everything on vinyl now... Yeah. I mean, I play music in the car and I've got my iPod connected, but every time I crank up the volume, it just kind of distorts. So I went and got myself a decent record player and started buying all this vinyl."

They also touched on socialism, the pressures of fame and Radiohead's recording processes.
