Frozen writer/director Jennifer Lee is keen to recruit Josh Gad for her Broadway-bound musical adaptation of the hit animated film.

Gad voiced singing snowman Olaf in the film and Lee wants him to reprise the character onstage.

The director tells, "We need to all encourage him to get into a giant snowman suit to get comfortable."

Gad is no stranger to the stage - he was the break-out star of The Book of Mormon, and picked up a Tony Award nomination for his role.
