Rapper/producer DJ Quik has offered up a "top dollar" reward for the safe return of a piece of high-tech studio equipment that was stolen last week (ends11Oct13).

The musician, real name David Blake, has appealed to his Twitter.com followers for help in locating his limited edition Akai brand Mpc 3000 mixer, revealing it was taken from a Woodland Hills, California property on Friday (11Oct13).

DJ Quik, who has worked with artists like Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg, wrote, "Reward_Akai Linn Mpc-3000 Limited Edition... Plum Color & Black Lacquer Trim... Stolen 10/11... Will pay top dollar in undamaged condition."
