Drew Barrymore was issued a ticket for jaywalking yesterday (27.11.14).
The 39-year-old star was seen being stopped by a policeman after she recklessly crossed the street following her departure from a yoga class in Beverly Hills. The 'Charlie's Angels' actress - who has two daughters: Olive, two, and seven-month-old Frankie with husband Will Kopelman - looked nervous as she played with her hair whilst being addressed by the police officer on the pavement.
Despite the incident, Drew refused to let it dampen her Thanksgiving holiday spirit and later, she took to Facebook to give thanks for her family and friends.
She posted on the social media website: ''I'm thankful for my girlfriends. Who were my first family. And now I am lucky enough to have another!
''And my girlfriends are there for my daughters. And it makes me overwhelmed with joy. Happy Thanksgiving to all the friends and families out there. Drew.''
She also shared a cute photograph of her youngest child with her hair spiked up.
Captioning the photo on Instagram, she wrote: ''Happy Thanksgiving. #mylittleturkey.(sic)''
Meanwhile, Drew recently revealed that she is incredibly disorganised and is desperate to change for the sake of her children.
She said: ''[I'm a] very traditional [mother]. I'm not organised in my life, like, I lose everything and I'm a complete disaster.
''With my kids, I really don't accept that for myself because I think kids learn from example of the way you live your life.''
