British pop icons Duran Duran are taking officials at their own fan club to court over allegations of missing revenue.

Lawyers for the Rio hitmakers filed suit in Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois on Monday (21Jul14), claiming bosses at the Chicago, Illinois-based Worldwide Fan Clubs, Inc. reneged on a 2010 deal to hand over 75 per cent of revenue from membership fees and merchandise sales from the dedicated site.

The band is suing for breach of contract and seeking at least $40,000 (£23,529) in damages.
