British singer Ed Sheeran showed off his generous side by dishing out rare two dollar bills to fans in New York City.
The A-Team musician performed on U.S. sketch show Saturday Night Live over the weekend (12-13Apr14) and received a warm welcome from devotees who waited for him until the early hours of the morning outside the studio.
Sheeran showed his gratitude to the group by handing each fan a $2 bill, an extremely rare note in the U.S. currency system.
A source tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "Ed thought they were cool because they're quite rare. It's not exactly part of the normal circulation in America.
"He wanted to give the handful of bills to the fans who waited for him, as a thank you gesture."
