Halle Berry's ex-husband Eric Benet is to front a new reality music competition show.
The Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter will co-produce and host Sub Stars, which will feature buskers and performers who make their living performing in the subway systems of major U.S. cities.
Benet says, "Sub Stars gives truly unique characters, with a different and innovative sound, a platform to showcase their musical individualism and talent."
The contestants will vie for a record label deal and cash prizes.
To make the show a reality, Benet and his partners have launched a Kickstarter.com crowdsourcing campaign in an effort to raise $399,000 (£266,000) by 20 December (13).
