Felicity Huffman has joined the cast of Samuel L. Jackson's new action movie, 'Big Game'.

The 'Desperate Housewives' actress and 'Alias' actor Victor Garber have joined the final weeks of the film's shoot in Bavaria, starring alongside Jackson and 'The Iron Lady' star Jim Broadbent.

'Big Game' follows the unlikely friendship formed by the United States president (Jackson) and a 13-year-old boy when his plane, Air Force One, is shot down by terrorists and crash lands in a forest.

The plot heats up as Oskari - to be played by Onni Tommila - ventures into a local forest with a bow and arrow in order to return with a prize and prove himself as a man to his father and uncle.

However, during his adventure, the boy is shocked to discover Jackson's commander in chief wounded in the woods. With armed militants hot on their heels, the strangers must team together to survive.

Jalmari Helander is set to direct and co-wrote the script with Petri Jokiranta.

The director previously said in a statement: '''Big Game' is an action adventure story on an epic scale. I'm delighted to be taking this genre on as it has always been very close to my heart, as action-packed adventure stories contain the elements that I believe make movies that are worth watching.''
