Emergency crews were called out to British rocker Dave Stewart's Los Angeles home on Sunday (20Oct13) after his oven caught fire.

The former Eurythmics star was cooking dinner for wife Anoushka Fisz and Australian singer Vanessa Amorosi when the blaze broke out.

Telling fans of the mishap, Amorosi took to Twitter.com, uploading a picture of Stewart holding on to his martini cocktail in the kitchen as his wife and two firemen look on.

Alongside the snap, she writes, "A typical night in the Stewart household. Notice Dave has his martini still in hand!#lafd (Los Angeles Fire Department)#ovenfires #martini."
