Gary Barlow is to release his first album in more than a decade.
The Take That star has announced he has been working on a new collection of tracks, the follow up to 1999's 'Twelve Months, Eleven Days', in secret after taking a 14-year hiatus as he now feels ready to re-launch his solo career.
He took to Twitter last night (17.09.13) to share the news, writing: ''After 14 long years I'm proud to announce my new solo album out on November 25th! I'm excited for u to hear it! More info to follow #gbsolo. (sic)''.
The 42-year-old hunk has been working on new content with a range of top producers, including Stargate - who were responsible for hits from Rihanna, Rita Ora and Beyoncé - and is hoping a performance on 'The X Factor' during the festive season will help boost sales.
A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Gary has been testing the waters for a solo comeback all year with live dates. Secretly he's been in the studio with lots of collaborators and flying to the States to work with top pop producers.
''The music is not just the ballads people might expect. He's a shoo-in for an 'X Factor' performance to boost sales when the first single from the album is released.''
However, the reality show judge will find himself going head-to-head with band mate Robbie Williams as he releases his latest album 'Swings Both Ways' a week before Gary's collection - which is yet to be named - goes public.
