Gisele Bündchen has become a brand ambassador for Pantene.

The Brazilian supermodel has signed on represent the haircare giant's products and says their new charity campaign, Pantene Beautiful Lengths - which allows women to donate their locks to make wigs for cancer patients - encouraged her to take the job.

Gisele commented: ''I feel my hair has been through it all - from being styled more than 10 times in one day to enjoying the sun and surf with my children - and Pantene has helped to keep it healthy with every wash, no matter what the day may bring.

''I love that Pantene not only stands for healthy, strong hair, but also encourages women to give back specifically through a program like Pantene Beautiful Lengths.''

The stunning star joins Eva Mendes, Queen Latifah and Zooey Deschanel as current spokesmodels for the brand.

Gisele was named the world's highest-paid model by Forbes magazine for the seventh year running this summer, with an estimated net worth of $42 million.

The 33-year-old veteran model can add Pantene to her long list of lucrative deals, which include H&M, Chanel and David Yurman.
