Green Day thrilled fans at a special festival warm-up gig in London on Wednesday (21Aug13) by performing their breakthrough album Dookie in full.

The American Idiot rockers took to the stage at the U.K. capital's O2 Academy Brixton ahead of their headline set at the Leeds and Reading festivals in England at the weekend (24-25Aug13).

They performed a three-hour set, which included their third album in its entirety, playing tracks including Longview, When I Come Around, and Basket Case.

The band was supported by Frank Turner, who returned to the stage after cancelling a string of European gigs due to a back injury.

He told the crowd, "Last week I slipped a f**king disc in my back and I was told by my doctor not to play gigs for three months... and I told him to f**k off."
